If you look at the original freeware route description in link above Ken, foggy says there are inconsistencys with signal operations and reccomends disabling "exit on spad" in game options and tab past red signals, maybe the version that was released on steam later in the Class 111 addon suffered from the same problems and were never put right by RSC.Įven with the few problems with the route though i still think the addon from steam was well worth it, 3 full loco packs and a nice little route for a tenner. You can still get the original freeware Granfield by "FoggyMorning" before RSC marketed it for a while from UKTS if you want to give it a try, dont expect the 111, the 8F or the 02 to be with the freeware version though. Cavalry and infantry officer are very good because they let you get cavalry leader (+15 mot/mech atk) and infantry leader (+15 inf def) a lot faster. It can be field marshal stack too, if ya got a long coast to defend. so i would put another stack with heavy infantry for the coastline in particular. The standalone 111 costs the same as that now. With unlimited numbers of unit to command, obviously we would like to use Field Marshal over a large front, but given how terrible the current battle. Attracting big-name backers Between 9 July and 19 September 2019, TSB Gaming says it secured a total of 2.01M from investors including Square Enix, B Cryptos, Mindfulness Capital, and True Global Ventures. Was £9.99 when the original Class 111 pack came out Feb 2011, it included Granfield, the 8F pack, the 02 pack and of course the 111. The Sandbox (TSB) raised over 2M in funding from big-name backers, including Square Enix, between July and September last year. Dont get that sort of value anymore im afraid.Įdit - i knew it was good value when i bought it and just found some info. Was'nt that expensive either if i remember right. Was a good value addon at the time though seeing as you got the full Stanier 8F addon, the full Class 02 Shunter addon as well as the 111 and the little fictuous Granfield Route that was very loosely based on rail lines radiating out from the ex-GWR Banbury General Station (Setterfield Station in the route). Will have to give the Career Scenarios another go as there were only 3 that came with it, one with the 8F, one with the 02 and the Class 111 scenario mentioned above. The origin of the rank dates to the early Middle Ages, originally meaning the keeper of the king's horses (from Old German Marh-scalc 'horse-servant'), from the time of the early Frankish kings. Usually it is the highest rank in an army, and when it is, few (if any) persons are appointed to it. Took you a long time to complain though Ken seeing as the route, the 8F and the 02 packs were removed from the Class 111 addon 2 or 3 years ago :) Field marshal is a very senior military rank, ordinarily senior to the general officer ranks. When i reloaded the scenario later the offending red then changed to green and i completed scenario, odd one. I ended up after a few unsuccessful tries saving scenario when i got to the red light again. This also had a red light problem very near the end of scenario, waited ages, light didnt change, couldnt "tab" it either and got SPAD if went through it. One scenario i did a long time ago on Granfield, think it was called the Granfield Chaser CS with the 111.
